FACILITY SUPERVISOR

We require an experienced Facility Supervisor who will be responsible for:

 

  • Preserving the good condition and functionality of the Starlim North America facility.
  • Coordinating general interior/exterior maintenance and repair on all building mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Identifying and coordinating scheduled preventative maintenance on building mechanical equipment.
  • Identify any issues on HVAC system, process systems, automation and controls, and electrical systems (Panels, MCCs, transformers, switchgears).
  • Maintaining accurate records of scheduled preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Conducting routine, repetitive daily inspections on interior/exterior of the facility.
  • Respond to any emergency maintenance requests as required.

 

Do you have?

  • Mechanical Engineer
  • Technical education in associated area
  • 3-5 years proven experience as a building maintenance technician
  • Troubleshooting experience

 

Successful candidate will also:

  • Be a self-starter with a range of mechanical knowledge and skills in order to identify issues within the facility.
  • Assist with any installations or repairs.
  • Knowledgeable of general maintenance and manufacturing process systems.
  • Knowledge and understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and equipment, as well as industrial HVAC systems.
  • Ability to accurately identify problems and troubleshoot wherever necessary.
  • Experience working with hand and power tools.
  • Ability to manage time effectively.
  • Have excellent interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Have an understanding of health and safety procedures in a manufacturing environment.
