Our division in London, Ontario, is currently seeking an energetic and organized Materials Planner to support production by insuring production plans and materials are available and ensuring on time deliveries to customers; both internal and external.

Job Duties:

• Order and maintain stock levels as per SAP and build requirements
• Co-ordinate production of accurate dispatch plans that support customer requirements
• Analyze demand forecasts and co-ordinate with customer
• Manage stock levels within Brose
• Ensure customer schedules are entered into the system within 24 hours of receipt
• Resolve errors within the system in order to enable accurate information flows
• Ensure on time deliveries to customers
• Manage material issues in respect to modifications, vehicle changes to ensure that stock is minimized.
• Liaise with and support the administrative team in the dispatch of materials on time
• Co-ordinate delivery of sufficient packaging in line with ideal stock levels
• Support self managed manufacturing team targets and objectives in respect to logistics activities.
• Comply with all policies and procedures of the company, i.e. health and safety, environment, equal opportunity
• Available to take after-hours calls as required
• Undertake special projects / activities as required 

Requirements:

• Post Secondary Education in Logistics, Production Planning or Business related subjects or equivalent experience.
• 2 – 3 year experience in a Material Planner position in an automotive setting required
• Solid Experience with SAP
• Applicants with basic knowledge of written and spoken German will be given preference
• Computer knowledge in Microsoft Office (excel, outlook, word)
