Job Description
A Plant Engineer position is available in our London, Ontario facility.
Under the direction of the Plant Manager, Plant Engineer is responsible for directing and supervising all maintenance, repair and servicing of plant equipment, buildings and facilities, including installation of equipment and preventive maintenance. Responsible for achieving and maintaining the lowest possible costs while conforming to company policies including safety and housekeeping standards, and to all applicable governmental regulations. May coordinate work performed by outside contractors.
Responsible for capital and improvement projects. Must be highly motivated and possess a strong work ethic and desire to continuously improve our operation. The candidate we seek may have University degree or College diploma in Industrial Engineering or 5 years of working experience as an Industrial Engineer. Good verbal & interpersonal communication skills; ability to work well in group situations; ability to deal effectively with conflict in mature & consistent manner. SAP experience preferred and familiar with lean methology.
