Job Summary:
Our London location is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join their team. The successful individual will be responsible for directing and coordinating activities aimed at continuous optimization and improvement of production equipment and physical plant at the London fittings plant.

Principle Accountabilities:

• Ensures the care and condition of all injection molding and accessory equipment.
• Responsible for all maintenance care items related to buildings, incoming power and services.
• Creates, schedules and maintains the preventative maintenance using Filemaker or MES program.
• Develops or revises standard operational and working practices within maintenance and observes workers to ensure compliance with standards.
• Oversees staff performance, trains and evaluates employees’ output, encouraging open communication and personal growth.
• Maintains up to date records of plant equipment (Filemaker, MES, manuals, service history, operating reports, etc.).
• Purchases and maintains inventory requirements for maintenance repair items and parts. Tracking of Inventory to be done in Filemaker Program.
• Acts as an onsite project supervisor to contractors, third parties or employees in order for projects to run according to schedule and within the budget and preparing progress reports.
• Maintain plant Health and Safety, see attachment for responsibilities.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Skills Requirements:

• Dual license skilled trade background OR completion of post secondary education, preferably in Electrical Engineering
• Engineering and/or project management and/or controls experience in a plant environment.
• Extensive experience with electrical, hydraulic and mechanical work.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, PM programs, CAD systems, 3-D perception, machining and welding.
• Knowledge of injection molding machines and minimum two (3) years experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and supervisory skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines.
