Job Description

As the Engineering Manager, you will provide production support to manufacturing in the areas of tooling, maintenance, industrial and design engineering.
Actively initiate and direct cost reduction & continuous improvement programs in all areas of responsibilities while assisting customers in design optimization & FEA analysis.
Liaise with customer engineers supporting and encouraging early involvement; participate in Collaborative Product Process Design (CPPD) through customer interface and meeting as required.
Supervise & lead: manufacturing, process & industrial engineering teams; maintenance, tool, cutter & grinding operators.
Initiate, plan and control projects to achieve in terms of timing and costs.
Communicate with internal & external stakeholders regularly including the parent organization on new and improving processes.
Maintain ISO, TS16949 systems related to engineering activities.

- Must be a designated Professional Engineer in Ontario
- Minimum Bachelor in Engineering or related discipline
- A background in heavy or industrial manufacturing preferred
- Superior knowledge of CNC machining & design requirements
- Knowledge of SAP a valuable asset; Pro E software utilized
- Demonstrate excellent time management, organizational & leadership skills
- Conduct & communicate all business activities in a professional manner
