We are looking to hire a Quality Control Supervisor with our team in Strathroy.

A Quality Control Supervisor is responsible for monitoring production, and coordinating the activities of workers who are involved in inspecting materials and ensuring that they meet the quality standards specified by the company. Supervised workers may be responsible for inspection of manufactured product, reworking defects, and providing sort data.

The successful candidate will enter all sorting data; distribute these results in an effort to provide other team members help in the corrective action process. This candidate will be responsible for developing sorting guidelines, instructions and others resources for workers to perform all containment activities effectively. Training and follow up auditing will be essential in the success of all containment activities.

The successful candidate will be supervising 30plus Quality Inspectors, and will be reporting directly to our Customer’s Quality Manager. We are looking for candidates with previous automotive Quality Assurance/Control experience. Minimum of 5 years experience is required, and ASQ QE certification is an asset.

Offer:  

• 3 month contract, to start, which will be negotiated at the conclusion of 3 months.
• Salary range equivalent to $26-28 per hour based on level of experience.
• This position is currently required and all applicants must be able to start immediately
