Job Description

General Description: 

  • Administer day-to-day claims activity
  • Investigate, negotiate and settle claims with insurers and 3rd parties
  • Provide assistance to customers in the area of accident and claim management
  • Work with repair facility vendors
  • Assist business partners by providing solutions to insuarance issues
  • Administer certificates of insurance
  • Assist Insurance Manager with the administration fo the Pollock NationaLease Insurance Program

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications….

  • Two to five years claims handling experience or related experience in the Insurance field
  • Post-Secondary education – college diploma or university degree an asset
  • CIP, CRM or RIBO designation or working toward
  • Knowledge of insurance practices, policies and endorsements
  • Knowledge of vehicle appraisal and repair an asset
  • Good communication, negotiation and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Detail and deadline oriented with a high level of accuracy
  • Good problem solving skills
