VP Sales and Marketing
CTAR Corp is a small but quickly growing company providing asset recovery services to the cable and telecom industries. Our company resells, donates, and recycles obsolete and excess equipment. This gives our customers across North America financial, environmental and social benefits.
Reporting to the President, the VP Sales and marketing will be responsible for high-level client relations and account management. This includes researching, contacting potential new customers, and being the primary contact for them, as well as existing customers. The position requires excellent communications and interpersonal skills in order to work with our key clients (ie. equipment owners), existing buyers and to work on sales and client development both nationally & internationally. The employee will also be responsible high-level marketing campaigns and strategy. The focus in this position will be on helping t grow the business and expand the company.
This is an excellent position for someone looking a challenge as an entrepreneur to lead and be one of the focal points of growing a business. This is a market with enormous potential that is expected to continue to experience high-growth as new areas around the world such as Latin America and Eastern Europe expand and create cable and telecommunication networks.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with both clients and buyers for sales and profit growth
- Manage other employees in the marketing and sales department
- Be the primary point of contacts for specific clients and provide both pre and post sales support
· Responsible for meeting or exceeding sales and company growth targets and reporting on other KBI metrics
· Plan and follow through with marketing strategies and programs
· Establish and maintain excellent relationships with all stakeholders
- Mitigate productivity and quality issues as they arise
- Assist with financial tracking, planning, business management and strategy
- Ensure all daily, weekly, and monthly reporting requirements are fulfilled
- Research and reach out to new potential suppliers and buyers; begin new relationships with them
Requirements:
- Experience in Telecom or Cable Industry is an asset
- Minimum 2 years sales, client management, or marketing
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, customer service, and communication
- Entrepreneurial spirit and goal oriented
- Some travel is required
- Ability to work well in a team as well as independently
- Hard working and quickly adaptable to changing business needs and processes
- Ability to self-motivate and take initiative
