volunteers in the Association.
The London North Branch is the most ambitious
expansion our Y has undertaken in decades and is scheduled to open in the fall
of 2010. This exciting new location
Nature and Scope:
The Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring
service excellence in all youth programs. The successful candidate will oversee
the supervision and safe operation of these programs; ensuring the YMCA of
Western Ontario regulations
The Coordinator will give direct leadership to programs
and services that include drop- in programs
Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement an annual program plan
· Direct leadership and direct delivery to role model
YMCA Standards
· Develop and manage programs in accordance with the
approved budget
· Develop and involve volunteers through training
· Make decisions and solve problems regarding programs
· Develop and sustain good member
· Understand and support YMCA philanthropic initiatives
Qualifications:
· Post
secondary degree/diploma in Recreation
· Minimum 3 years related work experience
· Minimum 3 years staff/volunteer supervisory experience
· Current
Standard First Aid
·
Current Criminal
Record check including Vulnerable Position Screening
