Job Description:

Production Associate

The incumbent will be required to load / unload, operate and maintain a single robot weld cell used to manufacture a tubular steel assembly for the automotive industry.  This is physically demanding job requiring an above average level of physical fitness as the parts are large in physical size and weight.  The operator is typically responsible for minor program changes, adjustments to the welder, quality inspection and rework activities if necessary.

Requirements of the position:

*        Hands-on experience running robotic MIG weld cells in a fast paced manufacturing environment a must.

*         A strong hands-on mechanical aptitude with a dedication to part quality.

*         High energy and a well developed sense of urgency are essential requirements of the position.

*         Excellent communication and problem solving skills.

*         A minimum of 3 years experience in the automotive industry preferably in a primary role operating robotic weld cells.

Must be willing to work any shift.

Wage: $13 an hour
