Job Description

Transform Automotive, a Tier 1 & 2 supplier to the automotive industry, is seeking a HR Manager

 

The individual will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

 

Main Duties / Responsibilities

·         Responsible to oversee and ensure the smooth flow of Human Resources Services inclusive of payroll, health, safety and environmental programs / policies / procedures / quality management system requirements (ISO/TS16949, ISO14001), or other applicable Regulations / Legislation

·         Responsibilities extend to, but are not limited to, recruitment and selection, training, benefits, wage and salary administration, equal opportunity, disability management, labor relations, records maintenance

·         Back up for payroll / benefits administration

·         Maintain all electronic and hard copy records for internal / external job postings, pre-screening / booking applicants &  tracking records, reference checks, initial screening, exit interview spreadsheet, training feedback spreadsheet

·         Responsible to take an advocate approach to assist team members and leaders in the effective use of open door systems, and development of necessary skills to overcome problems / concerns and the preservation of company’s open door culture

·         Responsible to provide leadership through promoting, setting example, and providing team leader’s with guidance that supports team effort, operational visions, values, goals, devise new approaches or solutions

 

Education/Skills/Experience

·         Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent in education/work experience plus a minimum 5 years directly related experience

·         Minimum 5 years supervisory experience

·         Minimum 5 years related experience in payroll administration and applications

·         Proficiency in ADP Payroll & People At Work Software considered a definite asset

·         Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

·         Conflict resolution skills, excellent communication, organizational, and planning skills

·         Excellent communication skills (verbal / written)
