About our Client:
It is our great pleasure to be involved in the recruitment process for one of our clients in southwestern Ontario. On behalf of a tier a manufacturer in Tillsonburg; we are presently recruiting for wire harness assemblers to work on a temporary ongoing basis.  The expected start date for this position is as soon as possible.   

This is an ongoing position working 40 hours as week + Overtime.

There are good prospects for full time employment for the right person.

 General Responsibilities:

·    Using hands and/or small hand tool tools/equipment

·    Inspection of molded plugs for excess plastic material (flash)

·    Check products for correct dimensions and other specifications

·    Rework and ensure part characteristics comply with quality specifications

·   Reading & retaining both verbal and written work instructions

·    Inspection heat shrinks on harness for accuracy & correct position on harness

·    Maintaining a clean working environment

·    Standing for extended periods (8 hour shifts)

          Qualifications:

·    Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset.

·    Must be able to read schematics, blue prints & technical drawings.
Prefers candidates that have experience with: hand crimping, wire stripping, wire cutting, calipers & rulers.

·      Must be able to work a straight day or afternoon shift

·    CSA approved safety boots/shoes and glasses

·    Ability to work an 8 hour shift

·    Ability to lift 20-40LBS when needed

The wage is $10.25/hr + 4% vacation pay - direct deposit paid weekly
