About Us

Cheshire’s Personal Attendants come from a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences. Whether they are employed on a part-time, full-time or casual basis, these dedicated individuals assist consumers with many aspects of their personal care.  In support of this, all new employees are provided with on-the-job training, as well as a two day in-class Cheshire orientation. In addition, Emergency First Aid / CPR, NVCPI courses are provided free of charge to all Cheshire employees requiring current certification.  Cheshire provides organization specific training that includes, but not limited to: Bowel & Bladder Training, Medications & G-Tube Training, Client Centered Circle of Care and Back Care.

Cheshire employees:

• Will provide services in an individual’s home in their community, Cheshire congregate living setting or a Cheshire owned property
• Must have a valid G2 or G driver’s license, insurance and a reliable vehicle
• Will receive compensation for mileage between consumer’s homes
• Will have the ability to work with pets in the home
