Wind Project Development Manager

Join our client's vibrant Wind Development Team and spearhead the advancement of utility-scale wind energy projects in Ontario. Take charge of the entire process, from conducting environmental assessments to navigating permitting, negotiations, and engaging with stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of new wind projects in Ontario, managing land rights negotiations and stakeholder engagement.
  • Provide regular progress reports to internal and senior management, ensuring key milestones are met.
  • Analyze market and regulatory changes, supporting strategic decision-making processes.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Ontario's renewable energy development processes.
  • Project management expertise with the ability to handle multiple tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Exceptional communication skills for engaging with various stakeholders.

Experience:

  • Minimum three years in renewable energy development with a focus on wind projects.
  • Familiarity with the entire wind development process in Ontario, including land acquisition, environmental studies, permits, and engineering.
